A baby vampire also in TVD?

What are the chances of The Vampire Diaries’ Stefan and Elena having a vampire baby as Bella and Edward do in Twilight: Breaking Dawn? — Ashley, via email

Ashley, your question confused the heck out of Paul Wesley (Stefan). “How do vampires have babies?” he asks. “Would the baby be a vampire? Is it born dead? Immortal? Do they come out with baby fangs? Do they stay that age?” …..

Torrey DeVitto Joins TVD Cast as Recurring Character

Paul Wesley and his wife, actress Torrey DeVitto, can start carpooling to work.

The actress, who has a recurring role on ABC Family’s Pretty Little Liars, has been tapped to recur on the CW’s The Vampire Diaries, The Hollywood Reporter has learned exclusively.

DeVitto, who married Wesley in April, will play Mary, an intelligent young doctor intrigued by Alaric’s (Matt Davis) powers of recovery on the CW’s vampire drama. She’ll appear in Episodes 310 and 311 with a strong likelihood to continue on afterward.

Candice Accola Talks Career, Style & Charity With Disfunkshion Magazine

Disfunkshion Magazine recently interviewed the lovely Candice Accola. She answered questions about how she got her start in acting, what it’s like working on The Vampire Diaries, and her involvement with charitable causes. She also talked a little bit about her character, on the question of whether or not there are any similarities between herself and Caroline Forbes.

Can you relate to your character in the Vampire Diaries in any way?

Candice: I can definitely relate! My character recently discovers her super natural powers. Now while I can’t relate directly in that sense, I am also a young woman still discovering myself at the same time.

Spoilers!

When Mandi Bierly spoke to Julie Plec yesterday about the midseason finale, she got some extra details on what fans can expect when Bonnie’s mom, Abby Bennett (Persia White), makes her debut in episode 12, which Plec said she’s currently writing. “In our show, we’ve met a series of Bennett witches. Obviously it is something that seems to have been passed down from generation to generation,” she says. “The lineage of these witches, with Grams and Emily Bennett, has been very important to our show, and Bonnie’s heritage has been very important to the mythology. So it’s about time that we ask ourselves who her mother is, and what her mother might be capable of as a witch or not a witch, and where the hell she is.” Also juicy? We will find out exactly what’s been keeping Mama away from Mystic Falls and her daughter.

3×09 – wetpaint recap

A new recap for the episode 9 “Homecoming” from WetPaint.com

We hate to think about The Vampire Diaries slipping into reruns until January 5, 2012. But if our show has to have a seven-week mid-season hiatus (which it does), we’re glad it took us places we never thought it would go first. Seriously. Klaus hijacking the homecoming dance? Stefan working against his fam? Tonight’s episode was full of surprises. And that whole Klaus vs. Mikael vs. Damon vs. Stefan fight was… Well, wait. We’re getting a head of ourselves.

Think About the Master Plan

To take it from the top, “Homecoming” opens with Elena, Damon, Mikael, and Stefan premeditating a serious murder — the death of Klaus, to be more exact. Their plan is for Stefan to call Klaus to tell him that Original Vamp Daddy Dearest is dead. To make it real, Mikael even agrees to let someone stab him with an ash wood-dipped dagger so that he can play dead to bait Klaus into coming back to Mystic Falls.

But, as always, there’s a catch. “A vampire can’t dagger an original without dying,” Mikael says. So Elena has to do it. Our girl’s a bit freaked. But she rises to the grisly occasion.

Still feeling betrayed by the brother who lied about killing their mother, Rebekah agrees to help, too. In fact, when Klaus doubts that Stefan’s telling the 100 percent truth, K’s little sis is the one who sells the story. “It’s true. He’s finally out of our lives,” Rebekah tells Klaus about their father. “I miss you brother. I’m miserable here.”
